When my father transferred from the hospital to Maunalani we were anxious and unsure of the care he would receive. Our concerns quickly disappeared and Maunalani deserves recognition for its impeccable quality of care and wonderful staff. EVERY employee from the front entrance desk to administration to nursing care have been caring, compassionate, attentive, and kind. Maunalani is clean and smells clean! They have wonderful activities for the residents and often bring live and talented musicians, dancers, and singers. There are games, karaoke, even animals, and cooking shows with samples! There are many lanais to enjoy the facility’s million-dollar views which are breathtaking and speak for themselves. You can see Diamond Head, the beautiful city of Honolulu, the ocean is peaceful and calm as far as your eye can see, and when there are clouds and rain they often leave behind phenomenal rainbows. My family would like to say thank you Maunalani for caring for our father, your compassion has meant much to us, you are a family and have made us feel we are a part of your family.
