I worked here while pregnant and everyday we were understaffed the hall I worked always had both aides show up they would always remove the other aid from my hall and make me work alone with 20plus residents. The kitchen food was horrible residents and staff complained all the time and nothing was ever done ! & for some reason my hall was always served last everyday for every meal and majority of the time they would run out of food so the residents on my hall would have smaller portions , or just an entree with no sides & sometimes we wouldn’t get trays until 1:30 sometimes 2. It was certain residents that they knew would always want double portions and were allowed to get that however the head lady in the kitchen would always question why I needed more food for a certain resident and would have an attitude that I asked for it. I had a resident who was a renal diet they skipped over her tray and when I went to get what was specifically made for her I had to wait 45mins because someone in dietary had ate her tray. They allowed the residents to harass workers about taking them out to smoke , however who ever made the smoking schedule didn’t consider what would be going on during the times the put for them to go out and smoke. & it was several times where I seen all the office people out smoking but when asked to take the residents they never had the time. The Don always bought food for the other office people but never for the workers on the floor . A residents family member cursed me out because it wasn’t laundry due to being short staffed , the nurse on my shift did nothing to defend me just ignored it . When the ADON was notified she never spoke to me about the incident nor the family member. On Christmas I stayed over because no aides besides one other showed up to work their shift , nobody ever thanked us or even acknowledged the fact that we worked the whole building with just 2 aides . I had to quit due to complications towards the end of my pregnancy, when I stated I was hospitalized nobody cared to check if I was okay just kept asking when I would be able to return to work , I was 8 months pregnant and a high risk pregnancy. I needed a letter stating I no longer worked there for my housing. I called HR several times I left voicemails because she never answered for me or if they would ask who was calling they would tell me she was busy and she’ll give me a call back . Never was able to get in contact with her , it was getting close to my date of needing the paperwork and I still never heard back I called my housing office and let them know , gave her the number and she was able to get the information within 5minutes when I had been calling her for weeks asking for the same information. & recently I was trying to get a new job and they use previous jobs as a reference when the employer called they were told by HR that they needed a special referral , which I’ve never heard of and I’ve been an aid for 10yrs. The residents kept drama going like we were in highschool between other residents and workers as well , I’ve never worked at a facility this bad and it was even an housekeeper who was inappropriately talking to a resident they were aware of it and nothing was never done about it . I would never suggest my family member here or recommend anyone I know to work here .

Warning!! Warning!! My father was sent here after a recent hospital visit.. he was at this facility a few days before being rushed back to the ER... He is a transplant patient and once in the emergency room and stable they told us his records show that this place didn't administer his transplant rejection medicine the whole time he was there!!!
