I am very impressed with all the staff at Merrill gardens. From the front desk to the nurses, nurses aids, to housekeeping and the kitchen help. You all are the sweetest people. I use to work in the kitchen and serve people in a nursing home 50 years ago and I am so impressed with how patient the workers are waiting on these people. It warms my heart to know we chose such a giving group of people. Thank you!

I’m really disappointed with the care my grandmother has received here. We were told she’d be in good hands, but that hasn’t been the case. Basic needs were often ignored, and getting clear communication from staff has been a constant struggle. It’s upsetting to see her not treated with the attention and respect she deserves. We expected so much better.

We looked at many places before deciding on Merrill Gardens at Sheldon Park. What we were most impressed with was the culture there. The staff is genuinely friendly and kind to all the residents. They have lots of activities suitable for people who need assisted living, (like chair exercise, happy hour in the afternoon, and other fun activities). The food has been good, and the layout of the apartment is wonderful. We have worked closely with Jennipher, Haylee, Tabitha and Alex to get mom situated just right. We are very happy with our decision to have mom move into Merrill Gardens.
