Middlebrook Farms At Trumbull

🚩🚩🚩 Absolutely atrocious the way this facility operates. The nurses DO NOT CARE about the resident's. It's almost impossible to find a nurse and when you do and you have a concern, you will no doubt be ignored. It's really sad to think these resident's are paying thousands of dollars a month and the care here is WAY BELOW AVERAGE. I've sent messages to the email provided twice with concerns and of course no one ever gets back!! Please save yourself the headache and look elsewhere . There's plenty of other places that are more equipped to run a residence of care then middlebrook farms. 🚩🚩🚩

Some of the staff here are extremely rude to outside agency workers coming in to see resident's. They make it very hard for us to come do our jobs. Some of the CNA'S will question and belittle you almost to the point of harassment. If a resident is in need of a nurse for a serious matter its almost IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of one and you will have to wait upwards of 20 minutes!! If a resident rings there pendant for assistance the CNA that shows up will scold the resident for ringing it.. I've witnessed it twice while visiting there! Not sure how this place has positive reviews but the state sure should look into this facility. I definitely will be looking to speak with upper management more about this issue. I've also had other coworkers experience the same treatment from this facility. It's very unacceptable how some residents get treated here!!! PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE

My Father in law has thrived since his arrival at Middlebrook Farms. When he first moved in, we were not sure how he would acclimate to the memory care unit. It was clear, from very early on, that he would be well taken care of and helped with his transition. After 7 months on the unit, he is walking around, looking forward to every meal, and participating in a few activities. The staff meets him where he is each day. They encourage his participation in activities, but allow him to be an observer if that is his choice. The staff has gotten to know his likes and dislikes, his sense of humor, how he likes to dress, and what he likes to eat. My father in law smiles, jokes, tells how bright and clean the unit is. He is clearly happy, feels safe, and content in his new home. The staff is always welcoming to all members of our family. They joke with us, and keep us informed of any needs my father in law may have. We have enjoyed sitting outside and being in common areas for our visits. We have held family celebrations in the private dining room. This has allowed my father in law to be a part of the festivities . We are very grateful for the care and love my father in law received at Middlebrook Farms.
