Today made a visit to a second patient at the center. The first visit was a few years ago. Nonetheless, each time the workers at the center have been so kind and helpful not only to the patients but to visitors as well. This is an indication that this is a caring place when good care is needed!

The first night my wife called at 5am crying that a nurses aide yelled at her for needing to be cleaned from soiling herself. I went up there right then to find out what was going on. I never learned the girls name but they said my wife would never see her again. After talking to several people and the staff treating her respectfully things smoothed out. The food was terrible, the facility run down like a 20 year older version of their brochure. Kudos to the photographer. They are understaffed which even some of the staff admits. When we were discharged some girl named Stephanie ignored me, the obvious husband and instead talked and gave forms to sign to my younger niece and daughter. She was snarky, unfriendly, and unhelpful, obviously untrained in discharging patients and possibly holding a grudge from me complaining at the start of our time there with the abusive nurses aide. Physical therapy was a joke with not nearly given as advertised. Sat. and Sun. no therapy at all. 2 wasted days. When we got home my wife had a horrible bruise on her arm and a bedsore. Do not go to Mobile nursing and rehab and visit in person any facility you are taking your loved one to. Brigid and a couple of others were caring and kind. I have to admit that.

My Mother & I visited several rehabs. When we walked into Mobile Rehab & Nursing & were warmly greeted by Kimberly, we knew this was the place for my Dad. This facility & staff were very professional & caring. We were impressed by all staff who were kind & caring. From lawn maintenance, house keeping, dietary, nursing & business office. My Mom was there with him every day. She was always treated with kindness & respect. She even took time to make & deliver home made cookies. One day when my Dad didn't feel like eating, one of the staff went out & bought him a salad. This is over & above doing your job. My Dad enjoyed being wheeled out for fresh air & sunshine. He especially loved petting & loving the staff kitty. She does a great job too. My Dad eventually passed in hospice. But my Mom & I went back to thank them all & deliver more cookies. Thank you Mobile Rehab for everything. You will definitely be recommended.
