My mom was placed here for “skilled nursing” after some time in the hospital to help strengthen her and continue to heal. This was a terrible experience for her and our family. My mom had a debilitating stroke several years ago and struggles to speak and get around. Majority of the staff there took advantage of that. My mom was left in bed for days because it was “easier” than getting her up. It literally took them HOURS to respond to a call light. I personally had to give her showers because they didn’t. They lost her belongings with no remorse. Seriously only giving them one star because I have to. If you love your loved ones, please do NOT send them to the “skilled nursing” section of this place. While it looks beautiful, it heavily lacks in patient care and customer service.

Not enough staff. I would have to call the desk to have them respond to my parents request from my cell phone at home. A couple of dedicated staff are trying to keep patients happy (Chris) is one of them, but can only help so much. My parents insurance paid for rehab, but its very trying for my parent to be happy when in pain, or unhelped needs for hours before being attended to. I have been there numerous times and set with my parent, and have seen the over loaded nurses becoming impatient because of my parent expressing aggravation for being on the other end of the care.

Value Consideration
With monthly costs ranging from $3,000 to $7,000, Montereau sits above Tulsa’s average for senior living, but offers extensive amenities, multiple dining venues, and a range of care options. The value appears strongest for those in independent living who can take full advantage of the lifestyle and social offerings, while families of skilled nursing residents may find the cost harder to justify given mixed care experiences.
