I watched my Mother-In-Law decline rapidly in this facility. Her Primary Care physician had very specific care instructions that were not adhered to. Fortunately due to their negligence she was removed by ambulance and transferred to a different facility on Liliha where she stabilized. Never once did my questions/concerns get addressed. This was during Covid thus they could get away with lack of accountability. This experience was beyond frightful. The isolation was unprofessional, the care questionable.

Avoid this place at all cost. I am unsure if it's because of the lack of workers or how they prioritize things in this facility, but it is terrible. I understand that funding may not be there and there could be operational challenges. However, I am not happy how my grandma is treated here and how miserable she is. It's ghetto.

I've been here for several weeks, recovering from serious surgery. The staff is excellent. From custodial personnel through every tier of the medical staff from nurses aides, CNAs, RNs, physical therapy, & doctors to office staff everyone has been unfailingly kind and compassionate. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the fact that the coffee is instant decaf. What can I say? I'm from Hawai'i Island and used to Kona coffee.
