Oakleaf Village of Columbus

We moved a family member in to Oakleaf in November 2024 and could not be happier with her apartment, care , activities and kindness of the staff!!! This is an amazing place filled with wonderful people !!

My family had a deeply disappointing experience at this facility. Several staff members demonstrated a lack of integrity, consistently failing to take responsibility for the commitments and assurances we were promised. While the service providers initially appeared attentive and compassionate, this demeanor shifted noticeably the day we moved in. The level of care was significantly below expectations and entirely unacceptable. Although we did encounter kind and conscientious caregivers, they privately validated our concerns. Our family member declined rapidly and passed away a few weeks after arriving at Oakleaf Village. I strongly encourage others to seek care elsewhere—somewhere genuinely invested in the well-being of the individuals they serve.

My mother was a resident of this place. She was a fall risk, and they said she would be checked on on the hour by the nursing staff. Well, they didn't check on her once all night, and she fell in the kitchen. She screamed for help all night. She had to urinate and peed in a cooking pot. The most humiliating experience. After that, I knew they would not and could not give my mother the care she needed. If you parent is a fall risk, do not put them in this place.
