The only way i could review was giving one star. They deserve minus 10. My dad lived there for 11 years. He went from 185 pounds to 269 pounds with the wrong diet. He has fallen numerous times, and Christy did not report it to family and even chewed her workers out for calling us. His falls result in several hospital stays and even broken bones. He begged the nurse for his medication and was denied when his bloodsugar was over 300. They also refused to take him to the hospital or doctors office. The nursing staff also screams at you for questions about his care. There is no privacy as they walk into his room without knocking. Also sitting on his furniture while playing on their phone. They also ignore residents that they are supposed to be providing care to while sitting on the couches in common areas watching TV and playing on their phones or sleeping. The carpet is ripped, torn, and black. Not only disgusting it is a fall and trip hazard to the elderly residents. My fathers room was never updated also with torn carpet. He tripped numerous times even after pointing it out to management it was never fixed. He had mold growing in his shower that constantly leaked even after reporting it to management that was never fixed. We gave them a thirty day notice, and they offered an updated room then and begged us not to move him. When we decided to move him to The Lodge at lane he has lost 30 pounds in 5 months, and his a1c went from 8.9 to 6.2. Do not put your loved ones in this place it needs to be shut down. They do not care about residents' only revenue!

0 stars is even giving this place some credit..Rude workers, walk into rooms unannounced or without knocking, place is a cess pool...carpet coming apart, dirty etc...My father who was a functioning diabetic with memory loss is now going into renal failure partly because of the "diabetic " menu, candy everywhere...paying for extra medical but cannot get shots because nurse went home early....under no circumstances trust your family members care to Oakwood
