I've lived here fourteen years, and it has changed quite a bit We used to have a Resident Council, but a previous director eliminated that. Consequently, the small second hand store that was run by our residents and generated income for our pizza parties etc. ended up closing as well. The Park Place dining services have been contracted to an outside company, and the food is still good, but not as good as it used to be. Also, the deli we used to have was closed. All that being said, the apartments are comfortable and well maintained, and the staff are caring and professional. Most of them treat residents as if we were family. While the activities aren't as varied as they used to be, there are still a lot of fun things scheduled for residents to do. The foot doctor visits once a month, and so does the bookmobile. There is also a barber/beauty salon on site, as well as a physical therapist. Both are awesome!
