My mother is 91 and is at Park Terrace Village. She has dementia and heart problems. I call it the Village. I looked at many many of facilities before I placed my mom here. When I walked in the door and toured the facility I just knew it was the best place for Mom. This was just like three weeks ago. Just yesterday we visited my mother. My friend and I. My mom is like a different person there. She smiles now and laughs. And she said “they take care of me here. This is a great place. And I have a wonderful roommate. I don’t know what I would do without her and the staff at this Place”. All the residents are so happy and smiling all the time. The staff is so pleasant and friendly. It is a beautiful, clean & a happy environment. My mom being 91 years old in just one day before 11:00 AM had her therapy, went to move in and grooving exercises and-played cornhole. I met her in the dining room thereafter. At home with me she would sit in the chair for hours upon hours and do nothing. She got down to 93 pounds. She has already gained almost 2 pounds and looks so much better. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do, put my mom in a nursing home. And I said I would never do that. But she needed 24 an hour around the clock Care now. And another thing I want to say is how quiet this nursing home is. When I went to other nursing homes, there was screaming and yelling of the residents for help and the other facilities I looked at all smelled so un clean. Park Terrace Village is so clean and has a beautiful decor throughout and decorates for all holidays. It’s all about the residents for them. This includes maintenance and even this man I met that drove my mom to her doctor appointment. All they care about is taking care of the residents and making sure they are happy and safe. Please go visit this place if you’re looking for a place for your loved one and ask for Erika. Erika is Director of Marketing and Admissions. She is very friendly And will discuss all the information you need to know. Don’t pass The Village Up for your loved one. You will love it there.
