My mother was a resident for 18 months. She was very well respected and taken care of. The people at RCC couldn't have loved her more than her own children, and family. I thought the Ravenswood Care Center was the standard in nursing homes. I was in and out their various facilities for decades visiting various family members. The staff took great care of each family member making them feel comfortable and cared about. Now that I am working in the healthcare field and enter other nursing homes I realize Ravenswood Care Center is leaps and bounds above the standard! When entering other nursing homes I'm often greeted with foul smells, and unhappy residents lining the walls. I NEVER experienced this at Ravenswood Care Center. Should my parents need this type of care as they age, I will rest easy with them at the Ravenswood Care Center and no where else!

The Ravenswood Care Center has been part of my life for generations. This review has been a long time coming! Both my mother and sister worked for this quality employer. My grandfather, father-in-law, and sister were all residents of either the Care Center or Virginia Manor. My grandfather enjoyed the necessary care as well as the other residents. As his family, we were excited to see their extensive work and therapy with my grandfather to get him back on his feet and walking! Ravenswood Care Center's Virginia Manor was the ideal place for my father-in-law after the passing of my mother-in-law. The social activities, resident get-togethers and after dinner conversations with staff and residents made him feel comfortable and "at home" which is all we could ever ask for as his family! My baby sister spent her final days at Ravenswood Care Center. The quality of care she received not only gave her comfort and peace, but also allowed me to share quality time with her until the very end. This long history with the Ravenswood Care Center and Virginia Manor has led to me to tell my own children that when my time comes, the Ravenswood Care Center and Virginia Manor is where I want to go! (I've even already picked out my future room!!)
