This place is close to elder abuse, treating every patient like they have dementia, disregarding for the most part all your questions and concerns. I was there for nearly 3 weeks and interacted with only two caring, competent and considerate nurses. The most concerning thing was a medication error and a nurse that thought she was clever (oh the smirk!) tricking me into drinking a laxative (that I had refused, not needing it anymore) thinking it was a cup of water to take my other pills. My daughter contacted the administrator, and she promised an investigation but I don't know if one occurred because she never got back to us with the findings. If your loved one does have dementia, then maybe this is the place for them, because they will be wheeled to breakfast, lunch and dinner and get their meds usually within an hour or so of the time they were supposed to be dispensed. As for the food, just hope you don't have any dietary restrictions like gluten intolerance because there aren't many options and you'll end up eating the same thing every single day.
