My husband, Mike has only been a resident at Shadow Mountain for about a month. It was a very difficult decision to place him in a Memory Care facility, but it was the Best decision that I’ve made. He’s only been there a few weeks and he has Exceeded my expectations in acclimating to his new environment. I am so impressed with the care that he is getting. Every time I go, there is a large group of residents being engaged in some kind of an activity like arts and crafts, games, exercises, and most of all singing and dancing and generally having a good time socializing with other residents and being stimulated in a happy environment. The entire facility has a very warm and comforting, feeling Like living at a resort! I feel that I made the right decision finding the Best place for my loved one! And I feel at peace within myself that it is the best thing for him and me at this time. Gloria and Misty have been amazing administrators who are actively involved with the residents and make them feel like they are part of a big family. Thank you for all you do!

The experience has exceeded our expectations, starting with the incredibly loving and caring leadership & staff who made our decision easy. SMMC has provided a comfortable home caring for the needs of my 97 year old father for the past 4 1/2 years. A pleasant facility, SM has a caring staff of administrators, nurses & caregivers with activities, talented entertainment and monthly Common Bond meetings providing support to families as well. Very grateful for the peace of mind on many levels!
