I've visited this facility several times over the last year. I'm greeted with warm smiles and helpful attitudes every time I walk in. The facility is nice and clean, but the real differentiator are the people who work here! I would recommend Shaw Mountain to anyone looking for skilled, long-term, or memory care.

It was really, really, really wonderful. I thank all the nursing team for the services. I extend my thanks and gratitude to all the employees for the reason that I love you all. I will not forget you. I wish you all progress and giving to all the patients. You are the owners of the white hand.

I’ve been the administrator for a few nursing homes myself. Shaw Mountain isn’t perfect, some long wait times here and there but generally the staff respond very quickly to concerns. I would place my mother or father in the care of the team at Shaw Mountain. Only advice I’d give to someone moving in or going to rehab here is communicate to the staff and get on the same page as for expectations. They hold care conferences weekly for rehab folks which is good because it’s hard to transition to rehab and sort of be left in the dark, thus the convenience of meeting weekly with the team to determine next steps of care and discharge planning. It’s also very nice to see that they are continually doing upgrades to the building and the rooms inside. A very nice building for its age. All in all, I’d recommend this place for anyone needing rehab or long term care placement.
