Annette had a good time. However her eyesight was fading so she moved to florida where her Daughter lived, to take care of her.

Solvang Independent Living Retirement Center is a wonderful place for many reasons. All of the staff are wonderful people who genuinely care about people. The Solvang team go above and beyond to make sure all of their residents are safe and happy. Their executive director has a long history with working with the elderly as well as their marketing director. The guy at the front of the office has been there a long time and has a very sweet, quirky and energetic vibe that all of the residents love. They have their own dining room with 3 chef inspired meals everyday! Their chef does a superb job not only with making sure his kitchen staff are running the ship tightly, but he also makes certain the food they serve on a daily basis along with events and holidays are above and beyond. The residents are indeed something special too. They all look out and care for each other there. You will find something special and different about Solvang Retirement than at any other Independent Living in Lane County. If you are looking for somewhere like this for you or someone you love... Solvang is absolutely a place to check out before making a definite decision.
