The real estate company owners clearly never had a family member here. They keep the facility grossly understaffed and severely undertrained. The staff care but have to disconnect somewhere with 1-3 staff for 19 residents with cognitive impairment. The director is ineffective despite constantly touting her experience. When it is pointed out that they are not compliant with administrative code, they become passive aggressive. Staff works hard and are not given the tools they need to work with cognitively impaired individuals. As a result everyone but the real estate company suffers.I would not recommend this facility until the company treats staff better and provides them with incentives to learn and grow in order to care for the residents who worked hard before their brain diseases.

Sylvan Crossings gives my mom the individualized care that she needs. Diet is important to my mother and Karen the chef prepares the food to order for Mom. I feel the environment there is safe and friendly, casual yet professional. There is an issue with loud TV noise and the staff is doing their best to address this issue. Overall, my mom likes living there and she is doing as well as can be expected. BTW, the Sylvan Crossings my mom lives at has mailing address 5765 Chapel Valley Road and there is only one building there. I'm not sure what is at 5784 Chaptel Valley Road, as listed by Google.
