About The Abbey of Olympus Retirement Living
The Abbey of Olympus Retirement Living brings together historic charm and modern comfort in the heart of downtown Eugene. Residents live in beautifully maintained apartments with full kitchens, surrounded by original woodwork, vaulted ceilings, and a stunning solarium—details that make every day feel special. Meals are prepared from scratch and served daily, with options for special diets, and housekeeping and laundry are handled so residents can focus on enjoying life. The community buzzes with activities like game nights, book talks, and arts projects, while the library and outdoor spaces invite relaxation and connection. With a 24-hour call system and medication management, help is always close, yet independence is celebrated. The Abbey feels more like a welcoming home than a typical senior living facility, where neighbors become friends and staff know everyone by name[1][4][5].
Our Care Approach
The Abbey emphasizes independence with support, offering medication management, non-ambulatory care, and the option to hire additional caregivers as needed. Staff are attentive and safety-focused, but the community is designed for seniors who value autonomy and social connection.

Families visiting The Abbey notice how at home their loved ones feel, with staff described as caring and safety-conscious. Many appreciate the included meals, scheduled transportation to appointments, and the sense that their family member is part of a supportive community.
