The Ambassador Lincoln

Ambassador is severely understaffed w/ residents constantly falling. I worked here for 2 years and put a lot of hard work into this job. None of the management cares about residents/staff concerns. They usually had me alone on a station w 30 heavy care residents which many of required hoyer lifts..not to mention being very underpaid. Greed has no place in a health care facility. I’ve had severe back pain due to caring for many heavy lift patients in a short period of time. I felt like I was doing a 10 person job everyday and have back pain due to the repetitive lifting. They play favorites with staff and decide who take action with because they have hidden motivates like racism. Every single one of those residents have told me how most of the other staff don’t do anything for them, leave them on commodes, or say they’ll come back & dont. I’m very frustrated that action isn’t being taken on anyone else ever, especially the ones that don’t take their job seriously. I hope anyone reading this takes the negative reviews very seriously.

Would not recommend this care facility. One or two of the staff were caring and hard workers, the rest not so much. This place has more slackers and management, social worker are included. The few caring good staff they have are getting "burn out." Management needs an overhaul.

This incompetent facility almost killed my father. They gave him blood thinners for 11 more days than prescribed. He was rushed to the hospital. Because they can’t read. Most of the workers there seemed to need to check in, rather than work there. The bed they gave him was too short for him! His feet dangled off the end! He had a severe leg wound with a wound vac. This was our first encounter with a “rehab” facility. When your gut tells you something is incredibly wrong, believe it. I reported them to the health dept. This place should have been shut down.
