Both of my parents have been at The Bristal in Bethpage for a few weeks now and I really can't say enough positive things about the experience, and particularly about Sara Anne Huenke (Director of Community Relations) and Diana Bernard (Director of Wellness). Sara was our first point of contact and really worked magic with my mom, who very much had her reservations about leaving her home of 47 years and transitioning into assisted living. Even from the first facility tour it was clear that she knows the residents by name (and vice versa), deeply cares about them (and vice versa), and has a special gift for working with the senior population. She's kind, understanding, and is basically a magician with the residents. This work is clearly a calling to her. Diana is equally amazing and did a fantastic job setting both of my parents at ease during their wellness assessments and was very communicative (and accurate) when communicating with my parents and me concerning their care plan. She seems to run a tight ship with her medical team and is very amiable, great with communication, and a pleasure to run into while visiting. Sara, Diana, Colleen, and Randi have all been great with everything from managing my parents' personal / social / medical care to move-in and other logistics. My family is already breathing easier knowing they are in fantastic care at The Bristal, and there have already been very notable and positive differences in both of my parents' health, appearance, and mood since their move. The rooms are really nice and my mom won't stop talking about how good the food is. And the grandkids love visiting them at The Bristal.

My aunt has been living at the Bristal in Bethpage in reflections since the end of May 2025. She has dementia and the care she is receiving is amazing. She has a beautiful studio room , the dining room is like hotel quality and service with great food. The staff is outstanding each and everyone of them from the top staff to the amazing staff that cares for her personal needs and those that clean the room and facility. She is safe and well cared for and very content which is truly a blessing because we can sleep at night knowing she is safe and well cared for and we can return to being family members as it was becoming impossible to care for her at home. I can’t say enough wonderful things.
