What impressed me most was how the staff paid attention to personal preferences, like how Mr. Daniels always reads the newspaper first thing in the morning or how Ms. Rivera likes her coffee extra hot. That kind of attention is priceless.

I never imagined I’d have to write a review like this, but families deserve to know the truth. Placing my father at Heritage Rehabilitation Center was one of the most painful decisions we had to make but what followed was even worse. From the beginning, communication was poor. We were promised regular updates and a care plan tailored to his needs. What we got were rushed phone calls, missed medication schedules, and blatant neglect. On multiple occasions, I found my father sitting in soiled clothing, clearly uncomfortable and humiliated. When I raised concerns, staff seemed indifferent or defensive, rarely offering a sincere apology or any plan to improve. Meals were often late or unappetizing, and staff turnover was constant. Just when he started to trust a caregiver, they would be replaced. There was a lack of consistency, warmth, or the basic human dignity that every elderly person deserves. What made this experience truly unbearable was the guilt I carried, knowing I had entrusted my father to a place that treated him like a chore rather than a person. He deteriorated emotionally far faster than expected—not just due to age, but because he felt forgotten and devalued. We ultimately removed him from the facility and sought care elsewhere. That decision brought visible relief to my father and some peace to us. To any family considering Heritage Rehabilitation Center, I urge you: ask tough questions, drop in unannounced, and trust your instincts. No one deserves the kind of neglect we witnessed.

This is not where you wanna send your loves, I went with my friend to visit her uncle. The lobby was beautiful and the lady in the front was sweet but that’s the only beautiful thing about it. As you leave lobby it just gets worse. When I went upstairs to the day room it was so over crowded we couldn’t find my friends uncle. We went to go check to see if he was in his room, and we noticed the hallways were dirty . I don’t recommend this place if you want to have peace of mind that your loved ones are in good heads.
