This place is nasty and unprofessional. My father was transferred to this place from Ennis Medical Center. The staff at Hillcrest was very unprofessional, residents was left unattended and roaming the halls as if they were in a psych ward. No one was able to give any information of my father progress but kept saying they were helping him. Rooms dirty, the whole facility smelled like a baby diaper. Staffs unable to be located. Spoke with directors and was still confused about the treatment that supposedly given to my father. Then when trying to transfer him to another facility they kept given bad reviews so the facility can deny transfer. Had to AMA my father out of Hillcrest and rush him to the hospital because he kept getting worse. DO NOT SEND ANYMORE TO THIS PLACE. ITS NOT SAFE AT ALL.

My wife’s first full day here, and I can tell she is safe and doing better. Staff seems very attentive, and the front desk person was very friendly and helpful. It’s rough to have your loved ones away, but comforting that they will be taken care of.
