The people are not treated very well, NO AIR CONDITIONING OR EVEN FANS, staff is rude and unprofessional, if there was negative stars I would give that.

UPDATE : 9/7/18 Name change from Heather Hills Care Center to "The Oaks of Cascade." This is one of the nicest Nursing Home Facilities I've ever seen. It is the cleanest and doesn't have that weird nursing home smell. The staff are friendly, kind, hardworking. The interior decorating is kinda dated but probably looks fantastic to those living there as in has that ritzy 70's feel. The residents always have something going on for activities. It's hidden away from the busy road and is a great place for workers and residents.

I am writing in response to the negative review from Julie ReschCreations. I am the Daughter of the patient that Julie ReachCreations is referencing. Julie left our the part that she is the one who went to the facility and took my mom from Heather Hills. Julie has had no contact with the patient(my mom) for at LEAST two years (saw for an hour) and before that not for Many years and she has never visited her prior to the day SHE took my mom from the facility in Grand Rapids. My father passed away a day prior and she showed up without notice. Julie was estranged from her family for reasons of vicious, manipulative, vindictive and constantly lying when things do not go her way. As I noted Julie is not a relative of the patient (my mom) nor has any personal interest with the patients affairs. The staff was responsive in calling me and my husband and brother immediately drove to the facility. The police were called as we did not know the full details of the situation and just wanted my mom back. I am open to speak with anyone from the corporate office about the situation in greater detail. Heather Hills is an Amazing facility which has and still does take such great care of my mom.
