I reached out online and before I could close my laptop they were calling me to follow up. Marcy Klines was very helpful to my sisters and I about which direction to go with my mom. Unfortunately, assisted living was not the safest option and Marcy was so thoughtful to help us get to the next option. I would recommend The Phoenix simply because the staff.

If you or your family member is cognitive, independent, and money is not an issue, I would totally recommend Phoenix of Hammond. The facility is pretty and maintained. If you or your family member need Assisted Living, I would not recommend Phoenix of Hammond. I spent 42 days in Assisted Living and there are lots of inconsistencies. Lots of hits and misses. I got the impression it's mainly a money making business and upper management not really caring about the residents. I did meet some caring staff members but they did not stay long. I think they were underpaid and over worked. Talking with other residents I learned the biggest complaints are the noise level and food.
