Five months in as an independent-living resident, I'm still extremely happy. The intergenerational features were a big draw; we interact with both child-care kids and university students. The staff is great: maintenance, dining, programs, and administrative. The physical space is great too. We happily cook in our lovely kitchen most meals but enjoy occasional meals in the dining hall. And now it's rooftop-patio season!

IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD!!!! DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY HERE!! This place is terrible for anyone you love. Management does NOT CARE about residents at all they only care about keeping rooms filled, how much they make off residents and workers completing “unscheduled tasks” for residents which the company gets paid more for. Constant UTI’s will happen to your loved ones because workers are careless and leave residents wet and full of bowel movement often. The employees are overworked and unappreciated.. we let management know updates on residents and what should be changed to contain their health and it seems to get overlooked everytime. Melissa, Griffin and the whole management team both care nothing about the residents at the pillars but only so much about how much money they can make off one while they are at the pillars. RESIDENTS DO NOT GET WHAT THEY PAY FOR!! The food is terrible, attentiveness is no a value here, there are no efforts from management to better anyone’s condition. Their methods seem to only have residents conditions decline until they pass away. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE THEY DESERVE SOMEWHERE BETTER!!
