We have nothing but great things to say about The Assisted Living side of The Residence at Great Wood’s. My 90 year old mother has short term memory loss and was living alone 3 hours away from any family member. She was forgetting to take medication and pay bills. It was getting dangerous for her to live alone. Now she is 10 minutes from my house. Everything is taking care of automatically here. All staff are very caring. She is safe and well cared for. To top it off she gets to dine in the dining hall 3 times a day. There are activities for those who want to get involved. It is also very clean. My mother is thriving here and is happy and content. Come check it out for a visit

We had my father move in at the beginning of Jan. We asked a lot of questions and worked with someone to help us find the best place for my dad. They have exceeded my dad's and my own expectations! Staff have been great and helpful to my dad. He initally had some concerns transitioning and now tells me it's the best thing he has ever done! So much so that he has volunteered to be an Ambassador to the facilitly. A HUGE thanks to Joanne Clukey for all of her help and support she gave to my dad during the transition. Joanne is a great representation of the commitment that ALL staff do to provide support and ensure all residents are welcome enjoy their time at the Residence. Speaking as someone who used to be an Assistant Director at a similar facility in South Boston it has been a great choice for my dad!
