Wildwood is an amazing place for your loved ones! It is equally an amazing company to work for. I have been employed here for 10 months now. I have seen the ins and outs of daily life with BOTH the employees and residents. Most jobs, people dread coming to everyday. This is the first job I have been at, that I am happy, excited, and LOOK FORWARD to coming to work every day. It does NOT feel like 'work' to me. It feels like family. It feels like I am making a difference everyday. I feel very attached to the residents and I do my best to meet every need they have, even if they just need someone to listen to. I have never had any negative experiences with my co-workers or staff. We are all a team, working towards the same goal, to give your loved one the best care and quality of life! Every staff member is always upbeat, pleasant, and willing to lend a helping hand for anything that may come up. I think of every resident as if they were my own family member. my mom, dad, grandparent, aunt/uncle, etc. and many of them I feel like have become my friends as well. I LOVE our residents! I know the rest of the employees feel the same. It's a sense of community. The residents become close friends and advocates for each other. Here's a few more great things about this facility. Plenty of activities. We have a pool, gym, salon, full service resteraunt. Theaters, library. Rooms to play games/cards/pool. We have a nice outdoor area with seating and a TV. as well as shuffle ball. a dog park area. a nice walking trail near a pond. The residents love seeing the wildlife, birds, deer, etc that venture onto the property. We have special activities all through the week, movie nights, game nights. happy hour Fridays with special guests such as magicians, musicians, bingo, bowling. There is always something for everyone! We have a special brunch every month where our wonderful Chefs make a plethora of amazing food. We also offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, snacks, drinks every day. Special requests, basically anything your heart desires! We do every holiday very big and have educational events as well as just fun events such as doing crafts (wreaths to decorate your doors, home decor, etc) The possibilies are endless! We have a skilled housekeeping staff that come in every week and clean and do laundry. We have maintenance staff that takes care of anything you need so you do not need to worry about anything! We also have church services on Sundays on site for multiple religions. We also provide transportation to and from Dr appts. We go on several errand runs, taking the residents shopping (Walmart, thrift stores, grocery, etc) We go on 'field trips' and 'scenic drives' to places like horse stables, museums, christmas light viewing, and other places the residents suggest or need to go. We hold special events that come to us as well, petting zoos, car shows, etc. Where every resident and every residents' family members are welcome and encouraged to attend. If you have any doubt about choosing this facility for your loved one, please come in and speak with any staff member or any resident and I know you would not be disappointed. The residents make quick friends with each other and that's the best part. You will no longer have to worry about your loved ones at home with no one around to help. They will be with a community of others helping to take the stress and worry off of your shoulders! If you have a loved one who is looking for a little more fun/activity in their life. They cant drive or maintain their own home anymore. If they are lonely and need to socialize, we will quickly become your friends, family, and support. Quality of life here is outstanding. I would live here myself if I was of age 😆 We offer independent living, Assisted living and memory care. Our facilities are fully staffed, secure, and we will tend to your loved ones wants and needs! We cant wait to meet you!
