Around the turn of the millennium while I was recovering from traumatic brain injury I lived here for over 4 years while recovering the bulk of my health, this fine residence helping to restore me to a much higher level of functioning. I'll never regret so much as one day spent as a resident of the Veterans Home of Wyoming. Since my self-discharge in 2001 much of the staffing has changed these past two decades though the tradition of caring for we veterans who answered our country's calling is continuing here. At the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Sheridan 35 miles to the north there exists a poignant sign at the entrance that states: "The price of freedom is evident here." Same is true for the Veterans Home of Wyoming. Thank you for the continuing work being well done.
