I moved my sister here in May and they have exceeded my expectations. The staff is so kind and caring! I would definitely recommend them! Lots of activities and fun happy hours!

My intent here is not to blast Wellbrooke w/o trying to work things out with the Exec Dir. believe me I tried. She is so non hands on. I tried numerous time with emails, texts and trips to her office describing the treatment Mom was receiving over the 1 plus year. Her comment was always they would look into the issues with no follow up. One of the last visits to her office because my Mom was sobbing again about being thrown around like a rag doll begging me to get her out of there, the Exec. Director’s dog nudged me twice which startled me and the Director picked up her phone and started texting. I walked out thinking well this conversation is over without showing her the picture of the bruises on Mom’s arm. I sent the pictures to her later in a email. She later denied texting telling me “perception is reality”.I never heard back about the bruises-wounds. No follow up. Mom never complained but towards the end of her stay at Wellbrooke she was scared and cried a lot. She told me this place had stripped her of her dignity. 😢 I shared this their comment was awwwwwww. I moved her to another facility. Mom was there a little over a year her health declined, the service at Wellbrooke went from ok to rock bottom. I was told by the Director of PT that we spend too much time with Mom. Normally that isn’t what is necessary. I can’t imagine where my Mom would be if we hadn’t. One of Mom’s last days there a lady was being interviewed and I overheard her tell the person doing the interview that it was so bad she went all night without water and staff left her dirty dinner tray in her room to smell the stale food all night. There were so many similar stories shared by other families but if you are considering Wellbrooke I think this gives you an idea of the medical care provided. Prepare to spend lots of time with your loved one they will need a hands on care and advocacy. Best Wishes
