My grandma was here for a while. It was a horrible experience, she always smelled of urine and her room also wreaked of it. She would be left alone for hours covered in her own pee. We brought supplies for her that should last a month and were stolen and used on other patients of the facility. If we ever had to bring her back past 8 pm we would spend 30 minutes to an hour trying to get ahold of a worker to open the door, they don’t answer the phone. This was a horrible experience and there was finally an opening at a better facility so we could move her. She is doing much better now, never smells of pee, and is overall significantly happier. Please do your loved ones a favor and don’t make them live here.

Unless you have time to waste, don’t bother with this place. I started looking for a memory care facility for my sister in California over a year ago. From the beginning, this facility kept contacting me every couple of months, asking if I had made a decision and pushing for my business. When I was finally ready to move my sister, I met again with the coordinator, who assured me there would be no problems. We did the assessment over FaceTime, and that’s where the red flags started. The nurse seemed fixated on the fact that my sister doesn’t like to take showers—something that is extremely common with Alzheimer’s patients—yet showed no real concern for her actual care needs. At that time, my sister wasn’t on a medication schedule, which I explained, but instead of asking important questions, the nurse didn’t even bother to meet my sister until I pushed for it. When she finally did, she spoke to her for a few seconds and abruptly ended the call. A few days later, the facility contacted me to say my sister wasn’t a “good fit” because of her hygiene. That told me everything I needed to know. If a so-called memory care facility doesn’t even understand that hygiene challenges are a direct symptom of dementia, they are not equipped to care for Alzheimer’s patients—period. Their lack of basic knowledge and dismissive attitude made it clear they had no idea what they were doing.

*Ive heard back and will update my review back to 5 stars. This is an edit to my original response. I’ve been attempting to get a hold of an employee all week, I have left 4 voicemails and multiple emails to follow up. Communication is not so great and had this issue with this specific person a few months ago about not returning calls. I need the Business Office Manager to contact me back.* Great communication with Sydney, helped me step by step and I made sure I had all the paperwork ready prior to moving my mom in. Answered all questions and is available by text. The property is great, clean, friendly staff! Prices are great too as some places can be very pricy. There were people waiting for us when we arrived with my mom there and greeted us. It was around lunch time so my mom, myself and my husband had food. We set up her studio the day before and they hooked up the cable to the TV and made her bed. Very smooth transition and my mom loves it there.
