Brenda Salgado
This review has been long overdue. Our experience was very positive at York. We did not know what to expect so I was very grateful for the way my 89-year-old aunt was treated. York is a well-oiled machine. It may not be a fancy facility but the staff housed at this facility are amazing professionals. Everyone from the nurses, CNA’s, therapists, cooks, custodians and all the admin people behind the scenes to make this place flow. The admin staff and nurses and CNA’s — too many people to recall names. But the nurses that were assigned to my aunt that I frequently saw Janet and Virginia were efficient and empathetic. A big Thank you to all the CNA’s, especially Sandra and Norma, and too all the CNA’s that assisted with my aunt. I am so grateful to Bella, Janet, Susana (weekends) Alejandra and Adrian for assisting me with the endless paperwork. In particular Bella took the time to sit with me and guide me through an unfamiliar and daunting process of trying to decipher the Medí-Cal process. There’s not enough words to express my gratitude for the way that my aunt was taken care of. Again, Thank you to all the people that worked with my aunt — that I did not have the pleasure of meeting — for assisting with my aunt’s wellness. I am eternally grateful for each and every single one of you at York. Your work matters and your work is valuable to the community it serves. You should all be very proud of yourselves!!!!! Deeply grateful, Brenda Salgado (Maria Salgado’s niece 24A)
